This is a preflight script used in deploy studio (could also be used with other imaging software) that load balances (random method) servers to allow faster imaging without using multicast. This helps avoid some of the pitfalls of multicasting images.
To use the replica image servers, make sure your mount is named "images" and in deploystudio point the workflow image to "image.dmg".
the "image.dmg" symlink points to the real images - in this script we have three images:
- Standard-10.4-PPC.dmg
- Standard-10.4-x86.dmg
- Standard-10.5.dmg
